Anime Inspiration – The Power of Meliodas
We all know that Meliodas is the brave and courageous, but sometimes pervy captain of the 7 deadly sins.
As their leader, he carries a heavy burden as he wants to make sure that he can always protect the people that he loves and cares for.
Interestingly enough, in season 3 of the series we get insight on one of his most tragic moments in his life… It’s through this moment that Meliodas gives us the keys to unlocking our own power…
Anime Inspiration – Master Self-Control
While watching this episode, I learned that when Meliodas witnessed the death of his first love he lost all control and nearly destroyed everything.
This lead to Merlin sealing his hidden power away.
In essence, he had to travel to the land of the druids to reclaim this power, but he had to undergo a painful trial that involved witnessing that fateful moment over and over again.
The original goal was for Meliodas to let go of all of his emotions, but to bypass this he learned self- control so he’ll never put the world in jeopardy again.
This is an awesome example of how we should act in our road to success.
If we can master self-control it will help us get closer to unlocking our true power and having more control over our future.
Anime Inspiration – Use Your Experience As Motivation
After completing his trial, Meliodas taught me that we should use the tragic events of our past as motivation in our pursuit of the future that we desire.
That means that every time someone told you that “you suck” or “you’ll never be anything” or anything negative along that line, you can spin it into something positive.
To this day, I live with all the times that people around me called me “ugly” or tried to make me feel inferior.
I constantly use that as motivation to create the life that I have dreamed of.
In the case of Meliodas, he uses that experience to remind him of what he doesn’t want in his life.
Anime Inspiration – No Risk Is Too High When It Comes To Protecting Your Friends
Since Meliodas is using his experience as motivation, he’s learned that no risk is too high when it comes to protecting your friends.
This is evident when the druid pulls Meliodas from his state, but he promptly returns regardless of the consequences.
It was said that if he didn’t succeed that he would die and regardless of this, he proceeded anyway.
On our journey to success, our circle is important to how we are shaped as individuals.
When you find good friends and family members you should cherish them.
If they are truly your friends and family, they will support you in the pursuit of your dreams especially if they feel that you are being smart in the moves that you make.
Once you find these individuals, no risk is too high when it comes to protecting those relationships!
