Hi Everyone! So recently, I went back to re-watch my favorite Batman movie of all-time “Batman Forever.”
This movie is very near and dear to my heart because I believe it lit the spark in me at an early age to pursue my ambitions of becoming a Billionaire Superhero.
As the oldest of 4 kids, most of the time growing up with my siblings was spent playing with toys and watching television on the VCR since we did not have cable or internet for the longest time.
Many times we’d have to go to the library in order to surf the internet, borrow DVDs, and/or read our favorite comic books and manga.
One of the many VCR tapes and DVDs that we had was Batman Forever, in which, I watched this movie so many times that I can probably repeat the dialogue from the movie line by line.
In essence, this movie taught me a lot and I think that it was a staple in my development as a future Billionaire Superhero.
Superhero Inspiration – A Huge Set Back paves the way for the Ultimate Comeback
For this lesson, I can look at it multiple ways. So from the villainous aspect, Edward Nygma had a huge setback when he finally met his hero and idol Bruce Wayne.
During this meeting, Edward pitched his idea for the box that manipulates brainwaves that allows the audience to feel like they are a part of the show.
In all honesty, it was a brilliant idea and seemed really cool. Bruce was actually interested in the idea at first.
However, Edward decided to press him for an answer in that exact moment which led to Bruce turning him down.
Because his feelings were hurt and he felt betrayed by his hero, Edward decided to take the villainous route by teaming up with Harvey Two Face, stealing loads of Production Capital, and using the stolen assets to fund his new company called “Nygma Tech.”
On the other end of the spectrum, Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson both suffer huge setbacks when dealing with the deaths of their parents and family members right before their eyes.
In this instance they have two choices. The first is to accept what happened, sulk into nothingness, and hate the world for the rest of their lives.
The second choice is to use that pain, lack, anger, and despair for good and ensure that no one else has to suffer the same pain that they have dealt with.
As a result, they choose the later. In Bruce’s case, he continued to build upon the greatness of Wayne Enterprises and embark on a never-ending journey as Batman.
In Dick Grayson’s case, he started living with Bruce and ended up stumbling into his own purpose as Robin which allowed him to essentially become like a son to Bruce and work with him for a mutual goal of saving the people of Gotham.
Superhero Inspiration – Being Wealthy Has its Perks
As we continue watching the movie, we get a glimpse into the Billionaire life of Bruce Wayne.
Although his wealth was inherited, it does take some work to maintain the wealth and to keep from losing it as with the case of Oswald Cobblepot in some universes.
With Bruce Wayne, we see that he has the ability to essentially do whatever he wants whenever he wants.
Technically, he doesn’t even have to show up to Wayne Enterprises as he has plenty of assistants to keep thing going and working properly.
Due to his extreme wealth, he’s able to be a well-known Billionaire Philanthropist as well as fund his extra-curricular endeavors as Batman.
A lot of us take actions in order to get the money and to build wealth, but we often forget that wealth is more than just financial.
Through Bruce we see his Financial Wealth as well as his Time Wealth, Social Wealth, and Physical Wealth.
Because of this, he enjoys phenomenal health through his exercise and nutrition regimen, Time Wealth due to all his free time as Batman and Financial/Social Wealth due to his status as a Billionaire Playboy Philanthropist.
Superhero Inspiration – Always Conduct Yourself With Class
With all that being said, throughout the movie we always see that Bruce Wayne conducts himself with class.
Whether he’s at a social event with Dr. Meridian or handling tasks at the office, Bruce is always the cream of the crop.
As a man of stature, Bruce stays well-groomed and observant of all of his surroundings.
There wasn’t a single instance where Bruce lost his composure against Nygma or anyone in a public gathering including when Harvey killed Dick’s family at the Circus.
He stayed in a constant state of calm even when he was dealing with repressed memories and other internal issues.
Additionally, Bruce keeps his mind in tip-top condition as seen during the scenes where he had to solve all of the riddles presented by the Riddler.
So always conduct yourself with class.
