Take The Throne – Are You Still Committed To Your New Years Resolutions? – Episode 22
With every episode of Take The Throne, I like to express my thoughts with the aim of empowering, inspiring, or helping you as you progress throughout your life.
This week, I’m helping you to get back on track so you can continue moving forward. No matter how steadfast we are in achieving our goals, even the great ones can fall off sometimes. So definitely check out the tips below so we build momentum as we close out the year!
Take The Throne – Are You sticking to your goals?
I know a lot of times we can write goals, hope they come true, and then we forget about them. The best way to not forget about them is to read them frequently.
This can be once a day or 2 – 5 times a week. You just have to consistently feed your mind its objective.
One method that I use is writing my goals on a flash card and putting the card in my wallet. By doing this, every time I open my wallet I see the goals and I can easily take a quick second to read it and then resume whatever activity I was engaged in.
Take The Throne – You Must Re-Focus
When re-focusing, you definitely must get your mindset in order. After seeing your goals, you must figure out how to get from where you are today to where you want to be.
I’ve learned that the best way to keep striving towards those goals is to make an action plan to accompany them. When making this action plan, break out your activities by days, weeks, or months so you can make progress towards achieving your tasks.
After establishing your plan then you must consistently take the action necessary to achieve whatever it is that you seek.

Take The Throne – Remaining faithful in yourself
No matter what your goal is, you must continue to believe in yourself. As soon as you stop believing, you are done. As human beings, we have endless potential that often remains unlocked.
Whenever you feel off, do something that will positively change your state of being and then tell yourself that you can do it!
For example, when I feel a bit off, I start to sing and dance. Then afterward, I will look in the mirror, tell myself how great I am, and I remind myself of my mission to help people.
If you don’t get compliments on a daily basis, then you will definitely have to become your own biggest cheerleader.
