Drawing on his ability to not only rap but having the vocals to sing as well, Drake taps into a heavy demographic that features high percentages of both male and female fans.
We all know how everything is going for Drake now. Everything is steadily rising, but how on earth did he get to this point?
In other words, one has to ask, what did Drake do to get where he is today?

As an artist on the come-up, it is a necessity in this day and age to have at least baseline knowledge about marketing and self-promotion.
Now, I’m not talking about spamming your SoundCloud link all over Facebook and Twitter.
I mean having a solid foundation in the fundamentals of marketing and self-promotion.
In the early days of “Room for Improvement” and “The Comeback Season”, Drake spent a lot of time studying the artists that he most identified with.
When you understand that the Music Industry is only 10% music, then you can begin to take the correct actions to position yourself for true success.
Music Icon – Producing High-Quality Material & Getting it in front of the right people
The last and probably one of the most important things that Drake did was putting out high-quality music.
Of course, when you make this music, you have to identify who your audience is and think of ways to get the product in front of them.
Drake knew this and over a period of time, he used his resources to cultivate a strong fan base that has continued to expand over the last decade.
By making sure that your content is top-notch, you begin to create a standard with your fan base in which they will expect high-quality work from you.
The only way to truly succeed in what you are doing is to NEVER GIVE UP!
