Travel Life Snapshot – South Korea: Adventures in Seoul and Yongsan

What’s good everyone?! So I was finally able to leave the country again after all these years and I must say that it was a most joyous experience.

This was my first real vacation in Korea so I definitely had a good time soaking in the sites and hanging out with friends.

Travel Life Snapshot – South Korea: Meeting up with friends

So the last time I was in Korea was for work back in 2014, but I was not able to do much at the time.

Yet here we are nearly 10 years later and I’m able to finally get to do some things. One of the coolest things I got to do was meet up with some friends.

My boy Kylle invited me along for the trip and he came to meet up with me via a long flight all the way from Washington DC.

While there, I got to meet up with my boy Shurrun whom I went to elementary, middle, and high school with back in Laurens, South Carolina.

It’s crazy that we were able to meet up on the other side of the world.

Considering we come from such a small town in the South, it was really cool to meet again and really get to hang out and catch up on lost time.

Outside of getting to meet  friend Shurrun and his family, me and Kylle did quite a bit of exploring around Seoul and Yongsan.

We also went about 3 hrs south of Seoul near the Muju area to visit a Taekwondo museum.

There were plenty of places to eat, drink, and really just sight see.

Some other interesting places included the COEX Mall and the Gundam Base in Yongsan!

I’m big into anime so obviously this was a really good spot to go to.
